Aloha, 

My name is Mālie, and I am the creator of Kalā Swim. I am a proud Native Hawaiian who was born and raised on Oahu. In preschool, I was learning ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi, and one word that really stuck with me was Kalā. "Kalā" means the sun in Hawaiian and eventually became my little brother's name.

Each print is inspired by the Hawaiian Islands, and every fabric is made from recycled materials. I work with a manufacturing team in Bali that uses an eco-friendly solar-powered facility. I am so excited about my first collection, and greatly appreciate your support!
