Hello! My name is Mālie and I am the creator of Kalā Swim. I am a current student at UCSB, but was born and raised on Oahu. In the beginning of 2024, I decided I wanted to create a sustainable swimwear brand that was both good quality and had cute designs. All of the prints are inspired by the Hawaiian Islands, and the fabric is made from recycled materials. Through a lot of research, I found a manufacturer in Bali that I wanted to work with- its the only solar-powered facility in Bali! After months of thoughtfully putting my dream swimwear collection together, it is finally here! Although this collection has been a lot of work, it has been such an amazing learning experience. I love each swim piece, and I hope you do too!
